"What’s your background and how did you get into photography?"
I’ve always been drawn to art—starting with drawing as a kid, then diving into digital art and graphic design. But it wasn’t until college that I picked up a camera and fell in love with photography. Now, I balance both, and I honestly couldn’t imagine where I’d be without what I’ve learned from both mediums. Art is everything to me.
"Where are you based and what do you enjoy doing outside of photography?"
I live in Brooklyn, and honestly, I don’t think I could ever leave. I love the city’s energy, so I’m always out and about with my camera, capturing whatever catches my eye. I especially enjoy shooting people and capturing those candid moments. When I’m not behind the lens, I’m usually playing pool with friends or listening to 60s-70s music while editing.
"How would you describe your style or approach to photography?"
I’m detail-oriented, which helps me refine every aspect of a shoot. I love playing with color, but I also have a soft spot for moody black and white when the moment calls for it. I’m a big fan of both digital and film photography, often mixing the two to create something that feels both timeless and modern. Fashion plays a big role in my work, so I often take on styling and directing my shoots to make sure everything aligns with the vision I’m going for.
"How do you work with teams or collaborators?"
I love working with other creatives and exchanging ideas. Combining different perspectives and talents always leads to something exciting, and I truly value the people I work with—just as much as I value the work itself. My peers mean the world to me, and I make it a point to carry that sense of community into every project I take on.
